Hawks Cruise Past Coyotes, 4940, For Second Straight District WinClarksville, TN – Since the holiday break, the Rossview Hawks (106, 25) have been soaring. Tuesday night their flight continued over the West Creek Coyotes at West Creek High School. The Hawks earned their second district win over the Coyotes, 4940. A strong Hawks defense added to miscues and poor offensive execution in the second and third quarters for the Coyotes. They scored just 10 points in the two quarters after scoring 10 points in the first quarter. This was only the third time this season they were held to 40 or less points. «Read the rest of this article» Hawks Stun the Knights In OT, 5150, For First District WinClarksville, TN – The Kenwood Knights (125, 51) rallied from eight points down in the fourth quarter to tie the game and send it into overtime Friday night at Kenwood High School. However, in overtime the rally came up short. The Rossview Hawks (96, 15) held off the Knights in overtime, 5150, for their first district win. The Knights came into Friday night’s game on a five game winning streak and undefeated in district play. The Hawks smothering defense held the Knights offense to a season low 40 points in regulation time. Rossview Basketball Teams Host Christmas ClassicClarksville, TN – The courts at Rossview High School will be full of action during the Christmas break this year. The Hawks and Lady Hawks will be two of 10 different boys and girls basketball teams competing in the Rossview Christmas Classic.
