        Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans completed their third consecutive winning season in 2018, finishing 9-7 under rookie head coach Mike Vrabel.

        With the offseason now underway and roster decisions approaching, the team enters the 2019 offseason optimistic it can take the next steps to make a return to the postseason.

        Since executive vice president/general manager Jon Robinson arrived in 2016, the Titans have finished 9-7 every season and advanced to the divisional playoff round following the 2017 campaign.

        In the first meeting of 2018, played on November 18th at Lucas Oil Stadium, Andrew Luck totaled 297 yards and three touchdown passes to lead the Colts to a 38-10 victory. Titans starting quarterback Marcus Mariota left the game in the second quarter due to an elbow injury.

        The winner will advance to the playoffs, while the loser will be eliminated from postseason contention. Kickoff at Nissan Stadium (capacity 69,134) is scheduled for 7:20pm CST on December 30th.

        Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Titans-Redskins rivalry dates back to 1971, a year after the merger of the American Football League and National Football League. The Redskins defeated the then-Houston Oilers by a final score of 22-13 on October 10th, 1971 in the first of 12 meetings in the regular season.

        The series is currently tied 6-6. The Titans have a 3-2 record at home against the Redskins and are 3-4 on the road.

        In the most recent Titans-Redskins meeting, played on October 19th, 2014, the Redskins won on a 22-yard field goal by Kai Forbath as time expired in the fourth quarter.

        The game will be nationally televised on NFL Network, and additionally the telecast can be seen in Nashville on WSMV News 4. The broadcast team includes play-by- play announcer Curt Menefee, analysts Nate Burleson and Steve Mariucci, and sideline reporter Melissa Stark.

The Giants lead 6-5 in the series, which dates back to September 16th, 1973, when the Giants defeated the Houston Oilers 34-14 in the season opener at Yankee Stadium.

        Of all opponents that have been in existence since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, the Giants, Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have played the Oilers/Titans the fewest amount of times—11 games each.

        Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Jacksonville Jaguars are the Tennessee Titans’ longest-standing division rival. The clubs have met at least twice each year since Jacksonville began play as an expansion franchise in 1995. For the first seven seasons of the rivalry they played in the AFC Central, and for the last 17 years they have been members of the AFC South.

        The teams have met a total of 48 times, with the Titans holding a 28-20 advantage.

        For eight consecutive seasons (2009–2016), the Titans and Jaguars split the annual series before Tennessee took both matchups in 2017.

        The most recent meeting marked the first time the Titans and Jets played at MetLife Stadium, which opened in 2010. Played on December 13th, 2015, the Jets won convincingly, 30-8. Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed three touchdown passes, and the Jets defense produced five sacks in the contest.
