Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators, represented by President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile, took part in the 2013 Scotiabank NHL Draft Lottery on Monday night, retaining the fourth overall selection in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Twelve days ago at Bridgestone Arena, the Red Wings claimed their second straight win in the series, 3-0, despite a solid effort in net by Pekka Rinne, who stopped 29-of-31 shots; they also won the last time these teams met in Motown, on Feb. 23rd (4-0).

Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Vancouver Canucks meet for the third and final time this season on Monday night at Bridgestone Arena with the Predators in search of their first win of the season against British Columbia’s team. Last time these teams met on March 14th, 2013, Vancouver used five goals in the first 35 minutes of play to claim a 7-4 win at Rogers Arena. Matt Halischuk posted a goal and an assist for the Predators, while Mike Fisher, Nick Spaling and Gabriel Bourque all found the back of the net. In their first matchup of 2012-13 on Feb. 22nd, 2013, Pekka Rinne stopped 23-of-24 shots, but the Canucks prevailed, 1-0.

While Detroit claimed victory the last time these teams met on Feb. 23rd at Joe Louis Arena, the Predators took a 4-3 overtime victory on Feb. 19th, the most recent meeting in the Music City.

Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars wrap up their three-game 2012-13 set on Friday at Bridgestone Arena with the Predators having won each of the first two meetings. Most recently on March 12th in Dallas, Pekka Rinne made 32 saves to record his league-leading fifth shutout of the season, Shea Weber and Gabriel Bourque scored power-play goals, and Rich Clune scored the eighth penalty-shot goal in franchise history on the 24th all-time attempt in a 4-0 Nashville win.

Chicago, IL – Nashville Predators forward David Legwand gave the Preds a 3-2 advantage over the Chicago Blackhawks early in the 3rd period. But it would not last long.
The Blackhawks answered the goal just few minutes later. Chicago went on to score two more goals to defeat Nashville 5-3 Sunday at the United Center. This was the Predators second loss to the Hawks in two days. Chicago is 4-0 on the season against the Preds.
