Clarksville, TN – On Saturday the City of Clarksville’s Department of Parks and Recreation held their 35th Annual Queen City Road Race on the campus of Austin Peay State University, late yesterday they released the results of the races.
It was a rainy, cold, miserable of a day for running but that didn’t stop the 1,650 Racers who turned out to run challenge themselves by running in the race.
“It’s absolutely awesome. It’s amazing to me that 1,650 people would come out and brave the elements and participate want to run and walk and just get out be physically active! There’s a lot of smiling faces and it’s been a wonderful day, even despite the rain,” said Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation Director Mark Tummons, as we stood together at the finish line.

Charleston, Ill – With one top-eight finish in seven event finals on Day One of the 2013 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Austin Peay State University women’s track and field team has some ground to make up, Saturday, with the Lady Govs sitting in 10th place following the first day of action.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s track and field team is set to travel to Charleston, IL, for this weekend’s Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Eastern Illinois.
The two-day meet begins 12:00pm, Friday, at O’Brien Field.

Des Moines, Iowa - A windy day at Friday’s Drake Relays hindered Austin Peay State University senior Chantelle Grey, but did not break the Missoula, Mont., native. Grey finished ninth in a tough 800m run field at the Drake Track Complex.
