Nashville Homers Four Times In Loss; Stephen Parker With Two
Tacoma, WA – Despite 15 hits and four home runs Tuesday night at Cheney Stadium, the Nashville Sounds fell 8-7 to the Tacoma Rainiers.
The Sounds tied the game in the ninth inning after loading the bases with no outs. Outfielder Khris Davis, 3-for-5, drove a base hit up the middle to score Josh Prince, who reached base on balls. An intentional walk to catcher Blake Lalli loaded the bases again, but Nashville did not plate another.

Hunter Morris Slugs Team-Leading 7th Homer For Nashville
Tacoma, WA – The Nashville Sounds were bested by the Tacoma Rainiers by a 5-2 count on Monday evening at Cheney Stadium in the opener of a four-game series.
Rainiers starter Blake Beavan (2-2) was solid in earning a victory, holding the Sounds to one run on four hits over 7 2/3 innings. The lone blemish on the right-hander’s quality start was a Hunter Morris home run.

Salt Lake City, UT – Despite holding three different two-run leads Sunday afternoon at Spring Mobile Ballpark, the Nashville Sounds were on the losing end of an 8-7 extra-innings dogfight series finale against the Salt Lake Bees, splitting the series at two games apiece.
The Sounds had the Bees down to their last strike with a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the 10th inning, but Salt Lake catcher Luke Carlin spoiled Nashville’s chance for its first series win of the season by crushing a two-run homer off closer Rob Wooten (0-1) for the walk-off win.

Hunter Morris Homers Twice, Caleb Gindl Plates Four In Nashville’s Best Offensive Output Of Season
Salt Lake City, UT – Hunter Morris belted a pair of home runs, Caleb Gindl went 4-for-5 with four RBIs, and Zach Kroenke turned in his best start of the year to lead the Nashville Sounds to an 11-0 victory over the Salt Lake Bees on Saturday evening at Spring Mobile Ballpark.
Nashville (12-28) set a new season high with 17 hits and matched its season best for runs scored in recording its third shutout win of the season.

Lalli Homers, Goes 3-for-5 In First Start Since Rejoining Nashville
Salt Lake City, UT – The Salt Lake Bees scored 10 runs over the first three innings en route to a 12-6 victory over the Nashville Sounds on Friday evening at Spring Mobile Ballpark.
In his first start since rejoining the Sounds, catcher Blake Lalli went 3-for-5 with a home run to pace Nashville’s 12-hit offensive attack. Josh Prince (2-for-4, two doubles) and Khris Davis (2-for-3, two RBI singles) also posted multi-hit efforts for the visitors.
The 12 runs match the most allowed by Sounds pitching in a single game this season (third occurrence). Nine of Salt Lake’s runs came plateward with two outs in an inning.

Nashville’s Hellweg Throws Six Scoreless; Khris Davis Homers
Salt Lake City, UT – The Nashville Sounds enjoyed a 7-2 victory over the Salt Lake Bees Thursday night at Spring Mobile Ballpark, highlighted by a five-run fifth inning and a quality start from pitcher Johnny Hellweg (2-4). The win snapped Nashville’s five-game losing streak.
Silencing the Bees early was Hellweg, who scattered four hits over six scoreless innings for the Sounds en route to his second win of the year and first since April 6th. The 6-foot-9 hurler walked six and fanned one, at times touching 101 mph on the in-park radar gun.
