Arlington, TX – The Tennessee Titans selected Alabama linebacker Rashaan Evans with the 22nd pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. From Auburn, AL, Evans is 6’3″, weighs 232lbs, has versatility and should become an instant starter.
At Alabama, Evans was a one year starter. In his final year with the Crimson Tide, he had a team high tying 74 tackles and led the team with 13 tackles for loss.

He was picked as one of the team captains, earned First Team All-SEC from the Associated Press, named to the All-SEC second team by the conference coaches and was an All-American selection by the American Football Coaches Association.
Evans is a rangy player who can work well out of a 3-4 and pass rush from a 4-3 scheme.
The Titans have five more picks in rounds 2-7 of the NFL draft. Round 2 selection begins on Friday night.
