Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s sports performance unit and football team will hold a lift-a-thon May 2nd to benefit the sports performance and nutrition programs and provide summer school assistance for student-athletes.
The lift-a-thon will be held at 6:00pm, May 2nd, 2018 in the Fortera Stadium weight room. Fans, friends and family interested in supporting the event by sponsoring a football student-athlete are encouraged to visit the online donation form at LetsGoPeay.com/liftathon.

There they may pledge an amount per pound lifted by their sponsored athlete, who will bench press and squat during the event.
For example, a sponsor could pledge 10 cents per pound and if their sponsored student-athlete lifted 400 pounds in the bench press and 500 pounds in the squad, their total donation would be $90.00.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will have a tremendous impact on the student-athlete experience by helping cover the costs associated with the sports performance, summer school and nutrition programs.
