Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team announced Thursday the addition of three players – Brandi Ferby, Bri Ferby and Jemiah Harrison – who signed National Letters of Intent during the spring signing period.
The trio joins Michaela Campbell, Myah LeFlore and Kelen Kenol to make up a six member 2017 recruiting class, the second under head coach David Midlick.
“I’m excited for the six we signed – both in the fall and today,” Midlick said. “With these additions, we can play fast, run the ball on offense and open the floor for multiple scorers.”

Midlick received a package deal with twin sisters Brandi and Bri joining the Govs. Both starred at Stewart’s Creek High School under head coach Lindy King and in AAU for Team Brandan Wright. Brandi was the facilitator for both teams, a point guard who displayed excellent court vision and lockdown defense which caught the attention of the APSU coaching staff.
Meanwhile, Bri filled up the statsheets, averaging 13.7 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals per game in high school. She was named first team all-conference as a senior, second team as a junior, while also garnering multiple player of the week awards along the way.
“They’re good people, good players and they play well together,” Midlick said. “Bri is a scorer who played at a high level, while Brandi ran the offense at the point guard position and is a really good defender.”
Harrison becomes the second junior college transfer in the class, joining Campbell, after spending two years in the starting lineup for Otis Key’s Vol State squad. Last season, Harrison led the Pioneers by averaging a double-double (16.2 ppg, 10.5 rpg). The name should ring a bell to local women’s basketball fans – Harrison graduated from Rossview High School as the Hawks went a combined 100-26 throughout her four years.
“Jemiah is a great rebounder and had a very productive two years at Vol State,” Midlick said. “Being from Clarksville, I’m excited for her to play close to home and her mother Donna.”
