      APSU Women's Basketball - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team will play the first of 16 Ohio Valley Conference games when it hosts Morehead State, 7:00pm, Thursday, in the Dunn Center.

      The Governors finished the nonconference schedule at 6-7, featuring key victories over Division I foes Arkansas State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, East Tennessee and Kennesaw State.

      Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee opens Southeastern Conference play on Thursday when it travels to College Station to face Texas A&M at 6:00pm CT on the SEC Network.

      The Vols (7-5) closed out its pre-conference schedule before the Christmas holiday, going on the road and picking up a tough 72-68 win at ETSU last Thursday. Tennessee was making its first appearance in Johnson City since 1963 and was led to victory by junior guard Detrick Mostella who scored 25 points off the bench.

      Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans-Houston Texans rivalry is in its 15th year since the expansion Texans began play and the AFC South was formed in 2002. In 29 games, the Titans are 15-14 against the Texans, including an 8-6 mark at Nissan Stadium and a 7-8 record at NRG Stadium.

      While the Titans have the advantage in the series, the Texans have won eight out of the last nine battles, including a current five-game streak.

Roger Hoover (PxP), #LVFL Andraya Carter (Analyst) and Elaina Lanson (Reporter) will describe the action between the Lady Vols and the Seahawks.

      The game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF NewsChannel 5. Play-by-play announcer Tom McCarthy will call the action alongside analyst Adam Archuleta.

      Instant Peay Play - APSU SportsClarksville, TN – If you’ve watched just about any NCAA Basketball regular-season or tournament game, or a few college football regular-season or bowl games over the past six or seven years you’ve probable the NCAA sponsored commercial spot that goes ‘over 400,000 student athletes and just about all of us will go pro in something other than sports’.

      The Austin Peay State University Athletic Department has once again lived up to that NCAA standard with over 50 percent of its total number of student athletes recording at least a 3.0 grade-point average over this past fall semester.

      Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – Behind 494 total yards of offense and a first-half defensive shutout, the Tennessee Titans rolled to a 36-22 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in a nationally-televised, primetime game at Nissan Stadium to move to 4-4 at the halfway mark of the season.

      In a game in which they never trailed, the Titans tallied more first-half yards than any other team in the 2016 campaign to this point and their most total yards in a game since 2009.
