Clarksville, TN – After winning four games in four days to complete an epic run to the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Championship, APSU eagerly waited with baited breath for its destination and opponent, to be announced on Selection Sunday.
The Governors reward will be a trip to Des Moines, Iowa to take on Kansas, the top seed in the South Region and top-ranked team in the nation in both the Associated Press and USA Today polls entering the weekend.

Austin Peay State University and the Jayhawks will square off Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena, scheduled to be the second game of the day’s early session and is scheduled for a 3:00pm (CT) tipoff, following the contest between Colorado and Connecticut, the No. 8 and No 9 seeds.
The game will be broadcast on TNT, with Jim Nantz, Grant Hill and Bill Raftery slated to be the broadcast team.
This will be the 27th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance for the Jayhawks, and the first time in APSU history that the Govs will face Kansas.
Tickets can be purchased beginning at 9:00am, Monday, from the Austin Peay ticket office–call 931.221.PEAY to purchase session tickets in Des Moines. Those interested in traveling with a group from Clarksville can inquire about potential bus travel when purchasing their tickets.
