Dover, TN – Ta’Tayana Outlaw proved to be a one-woman wrecking crew for Clarksville High School’s girls basketball team, Monday, December 29th at the Bill Craig Memorial Gymnasium in the final day of the Stewart County Rebel Christmas Classic, as she outscore the tournament host Stewart County High School by herself in a 56-20 victory.
Outlaw finished the game with a season-high 25 points, as the Lady Wildcats (8-8) controlled the paint all night long with a dominating effort in both scoring and rebounding.
Right from the start Clarksville High was in control of the contest, with Hannah Goins knocking down a three just 17 seconds into the contest that would spark with would turn out to be a 14-0 run by the Lady Wildcats to open the contest.
Stewart County (7-9) would finally get on the board with a free throw from SaraAnn Page, with 1:01 left in the opening quarter.

Clarksville High would extend its lead out to 19 points, 24-5, with 3:29 left in the first half, as Outlaw scored eight of the Lady Wildcats first 10 points of the second period.
But it wouldn’t just be Outlaw’s offense that hampered Stewart County, as the Lady Wildcats defense wouldn’t give up a made field goal from the Lady Rebels until the 1:38 mark of the second quarter, when Casey Dial knocked down a three-point field goal to make it 24-8.
Overall in the game, Stewart County only recorded four made field goals.
Clarksville High — who led 30-11 at halftime — continued to pound the ball inside in the third quarter, with Outlaw and LaPrasha Fair accounting for 11 of the 12 points scored by the Lady Wildcats in the period, as they extended their lead out to 25 points by the end of the period, 42-17.
Fair would finish with 13 points.
The final quarter would see Dial hit two free throws to open the period, but Clarksville High would score the next 14 points to go up 37 before clearing it bench in a 56-20 final.
The Lady Wildcats are off until after the new year, when they return to District 10-AAA action on January 6th with a 6:00pm home contest versus West Creek High School.
