Clarksville, TN – The Rossview Christmas Classic tipped off Monday morning with the Lady Eagles playing against the Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) Lady Lions. The Lady Eagles never took flight. The Lady Lions thrashed the Lady Eagles, 65-35.
The Lady Lions hit the floor Monday morning running while the Lady Eagles appeared to just hit the floor. The Lady Lions opened the game with a 10-0 run. Savannah LeGate scored seven of those points in the post. It was the beginning of a trend she held up the entire game.
LeGate was just shy of scoring a double-double with 15 points and 9 rebounds. She led all scorers and was one of nine Lady Lions to score in the game. Isabella Franco scored 14 and Kenedi Hambrick put up 13 points.

After a slow start, the Lady Eagles battled back to within four points, 24-20, by the third period. However, that would be as close as they would get in the game.

They continued to get beat inside and compounded their problems by fouling. They were outscored by the Lady Lions 20-7. The Lady Lions converted 14-of-16 from the free throw line. The Lady Eagles shot 4-of-9 from the stripe.
Sepe Moore led the Lady Eagles with nine points. Lakeisha Phillips scored eight and Kayla Bradley added five. The Lady Eagles struggled to score and got very few second opportunities. They pulled down just 14 rebounds compared to the Lady Lions 42.
