Clarksville, TN – Most of the Friday night lights were off in Clarksville last Friday because all the District 10-AAA football teams were on their Fall break.
However, while those teams were resting and gearing up for their last two games of the regular season, both the Clarksville Academy Cougars and the Fort Campbell Falcons were handling their business at home.

Week 9 Review
The Cougars won their seventh game in a row, mauling the Houston County Fighting Irish 50-6. The win sets up a showdown for the district championship between the Cougars (7-2, 4-0) and the Nashville Christian Eagles (8-0, 4-0) this Friday at Nashville Christian High School.
The Falcons broke a four-game losing streak by defeating the Webster County Trojans, 42-14. The Trojans have not won a game since their home opener against Hopkins County Central. Next, the Falcons (2-6, 1-1) will try to extend their winning streak against District 1-AAA opponents, the Trigg County Wildcats (5-4, 1-1).
The Henry County Patriots can lock up the district championship with a win over the Northeast Eagles this week. A loss would keep the door open for the Springfield Yellow Jackets or the Rossview Hawks who play each other in Springfield this Friday.
The West Creek Coyotes take on the Northwest Vikings at Northwest this week. The winner will earn their first district win.
