Oxford, AL – Running as a pack, Austin Peay State University women’s cross country team were able to score 62 points, claiming second place at the JSU Foothills Invitational, hosted by Ohio Valley Conference rival Jacksonville State.

Oxford, AL – Sophomore Daniel Hamm won the individual title, leading Austin Peay State University men’s cross country team to a first-place finish in the Red Division at the JSU Foothills Invitational hosted by Jacksonville State.

Knoxville, Tn –Florida’s winning streak against the Vols continues.
Florida took its first lead of the game with 6:20 left in regulation and held on for a 10-9 victory over Tennessee (2-3, 0-2 SEC). It was the Gators (3-1, 2-1 SEC) 10th consecutive victory in the series, dating to a 30-28 Vols’ victory on Sept. 18th, 2004, on a last-second field goal by James Wilhoit.
Florida’s quarterback change from Jeff Driskel to Treon Harris proved to be the difference for the Gators getting their offense kick-started. He led the Gators to both of their scoring drives and their 10 fourth-quarter points.
Clarksville, TN – A balanced offensive attack helped Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team secure a three-set sweep (25-20, 27-25, 25-23) against Morehead State in Ohio Valley Conference action, Saturday, at the Dunn Center.
With the win, Austin Peay (10-10, 4-0 OVC) moved to .500 for the first time this season and remained atop the OVC standings after two weeks.

Indianapolis, Ind – As the season teed off in September, so have the honors as the first month of competition has come to a close in what will be a long and competitive season leading up to the conference championships on April 20th-21st, 2015.
After a month of competition, Alexa Rippy of Trevecca Nazarene University was named Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Month.
The 2014-15 women’s golf season opened in September with a variety of events that featured a field full of G-MAC teams.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team looks to build off a strong opening weekend in Ohio Valley Conference play when it travels to Charleston, IL, for a 2:00pm, Sunday contest against Eastern Illinois.

Clarksville, TN – After being held in check for most of the opening half, Rossview High School’s football team scored the final three touchdowns of the game, Friday night, October 3rd in their District 10-AAA matchup, versus Kenwood High School to rally for a 26-18 victory.
The Hawks (4-3, 3-1 District 10-AAA) were trailing 18-7, with just 29.3 seconds left in the first half, when they started their rally with a drive starting at the Rossview 43-yard line.
Isaiah Johnson, who finished the night with a game-high 213 yards rushing on 32 carries, snapped off runs of 11-, 12- and five-yards to get down to the Knights 29-yard line, with just under 10 seconds left in the half.

Indianapolis, Ind –The men’s golf schedule teed off in September with teams playing in a variety of events, but the month closed out with the first regionally recognized tournament, where Tyler Phillips finished second overall and helped the Trojans place third.
For his efforts, Phillips was named Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Month for the month of September.
