Clarksville, TN – In week 4, the hot stayed hot and the cool stayed cool. There is a clear top and bottom to the District 10-AAA teams with everyone else in a tight race in the middle.
This week marks the midpoint of the season and the majority of the teams are sitting at .500 (2-2). Several of those teams will face each other this week with a chance to either start the second half of the season above .500 with momentum or below .500 with hopes for change.
Rossview vs Stratford High School Football (Michael Rios/Clarksville Sports Network)
The Springfield Yellow Jackets are still undefeated and have established a two-game lead over the rest of the conference with their second straight conference win. They stung the Northwest Vikings, 48-22. It was their highest scoring game so far and appear to only be getting better as they travel to West Creek this week.
The Rossview Hawks won their second in a row against Stratford, 55-12. After a slow start, the offense has averaged 51 points the last two games. The Hawks will be tested on the road at Henry County this week. Both teams have one conference win so far this season.
