        Austin Peay Sports Information

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUHutchinson, KS – First it was lightning and then it was heavy rains that delayed and interrupted first-round play of the NCAA Golf Championship, Friday, being played at Prairie Dunes. The tourney will resume early Saturday.

APSU golfer Marco Iten, after a 5:40 delay, finally hit his first tee shot at 2:40pm. After two holes, he had two pars, saving the first one after a near-perfect wedge from the bunker.

He was standing over another par putt on No. 3 when the horn sounded to end play.

Tourney resumption will be 7:00am, Saturday.
