Austin Peay Lady Govs Golf unable to find finishing kickAustin Peay Sports Information
Sophomore Jessica Cathey, who struggled during the tourney’s first two rounds, displayed some of her 2013 all-Ohio Valley Conference form, shooting 2-over 74 to finish with a 237. But Cathey was the only Lady Gov to break 80, Tuesday. Freshman Morgan Kauffman had APSU’s second-best score with an 80 to finish at 245 while fellow freshman Morgan Gardner followed with an 82 to end at 246. Seniors Rachel Deaton (84) and Tala Mumford (85) rounded out APSU’s Tuesday scores, finishing at 242, respectively. Daytona State led from start to finish in capturing the tourney with a three-day 889. Houston Baptist was second at 895. APSU’s OVC foes Murray State (911), Eastern Kentucky (916) and Morehead State (917) finished, finished fifth, seventh and tied/eighth, respectively. Box ScoreMSU Ocala Spring Invitational
