Nashville, TN – On a night where the Commodores couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn, Vanderbilt still had a chance to win this game over Saint Louis.
Jordair Jett scored 17 points to spark the Saint Louis team and lead them to their sixth straight victory over Vanderbilt 57-49.
Saint Louis scored 12 straight points to take the biggest lead of the game, 53-44, on two Grandy Glaze free throws with just over 1:06 left.
Saint Louis trailed most of the game until Rob Loe had back-to-back baskets including a dunk to put the Billikens back on top 41-40 with 6:49 left. This was their first lead since midway through the first half.

Damian Jones scored 12 points to lead the Commodores as their three game win streak came to a screeching halt. This was the first home court loss of the season for Vanderbilt.
It was also Vanderbilt’s lowest offensive output at Memorial Gym since scoring 43 in back-to-back losses in February 2002
