Clarksville, TN – Basketball courts across Clarksville lit up as high school basketball started last week. Both boys and girls broke in their new sneakers in the Hall of Fame games. Some of the teams set their nets on fire, starting the season with solid wins and others are still looking for the right formula to get their first win.
The Henry Country Lady Patriots and the Rossview Lady Hawks started their seasons with impressive wins. Janie White led the Lady Hawks with 27 points in their Hall of Fame home opening win against the Gallatin Green Wave.

The Lady Patriots finished the week undefeated, 3-0. Breanna Boggs scored 22 points in their win over Wayne County Saturday.
After losing their Hall of Fame game season opener, the Northeast Lady Eagles broke their 30-game losing streak by defeating the Montgomery Central Lady Indians. Jazzmyn Simpson scored 17 points in the win.
The Lady Indians are one of seven teams still looking for their first win, including the Kenwood Lady Knights and the Clarksville High Lady Wildcats.

On the guys side of the court only four teams have yet to win a game, including West Creek and Clarksville Academy.
The Northeast Eagles are undefeated at 2-0. Nick Green scored 27 points for the Eagles in their first win against the Oakland Patriots.
Both the Kenwood Knights and the Rossview Hawks opened the season with wins as well. Daniel Nori scored 23 points for the Knights against Sycamore.
The Northwest Vikings split its two games on the road.
