Clarksville, TN – The day after Austin Peay’s win over SIU Edwardsville, it’s been determined that Chris Horton was credited with two more first-half blocks giving him seven on the night, and 85 for the season.
Horton entered Saturday night’s contest with SIU Edwardsville needing six blocked shots to break Josh Lewis’ 2003-04 record of 83 blocks.

It was the third game this season Horton blocked seven shots and the 13th occasion in which he swatted away at least three shots. Horton entered Saturday’s game ranked 10th in Division I for blocked shots, averaging 3.0 game.
His 85 blocked shots already has Horton ranked eighth all-time for career blocks.
