Nashville, TN – The Chicago Blackhawks broke things open in the 2nd period when Marcus Kruger and Jonathan Toews scored back to back goals within 66 seconds of each other. The Blackhawks go on to defeat the Nashville Predators Sunday night 3-0 in front of a sold out crowd at Bridgestone Arena.
Auburn, AL – Austin Peay State University’s softball team couldn’t get its offense going, on Sunday at the Plainsman Invitational, scoring one run in each game in dropping a 3-1 decision to Furman in the morning and a 9-1 final to host Auburn in the afternoon.

On Saturday night, Paul Gaustad tallied his first regular-season goal in a Predators sweater when he beat Niklas Backstrom midway through the first period – he tallied his first goal for the Predators in Game One of the 2012 Western Conference Quarterfinals against Detroit (April 11, 2012). With the goal, Gaustad now has posted three points (1g-2a) in his last three games. He tallied his first multi-point effort (2a) of the season on Tuesday against the Blues – it was his first multi-point game since Jan. 31, 2012 (1g-2a).
