St. Louis MO -  The Nashville Predators finished their seven game road trip with a resounding 6-1 over the St. Louis Blues, as five different Predators scored goals.  The Blues have had the Predators number so far this season, winning their first two meetings.

Ryan Ellis got things started with a power play goal just 2:10 into the game, setting the tone for a high scoring night.  Ellis was assisted by Martin Erat and Colin Wilson.

Rich Klune was next with a tip-in goal nearly sixteen minutes into the first period, then Nick Spaling made it 3-0 at 19:53 into the first period.

Kevin Klein and Gabriel Bourque scored in the second period to make it 5-0, but with seven minutes remaining in the second period, St. Louis got on the board with a goal from Alex Pietrangelo to finish the period 5-1.

Martin Erat finished the scoring to make it 6-1.

It was all St. Louis in the third, as Nashville withstood the onslaught of shots from the Blues, and goalie Pekka Rinne stopped 31 of 32 shots he faced on the night.

Nashville finished their record setting seven game road trip with a 4-2-1 record, and will return to Nashville this Thursday night to host the defending Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings.
